Opinions vary widely on the phenomenon known as the Twilight Saga. By sharing my own, I will emphasize the books. As for the Twilight movie, we will accept that they are an "attempt" to Stephenie Meyer's visions to life. Let love them or hate them, are what they are. If ticket sales are any indication, they seem to have mass appeal, despite purists vampires.
For my part, I enjoyed the first two films and we hope other two. However, I would have liked what I expected. Third Party interpretations tablets in Hollywood productions, ultimately, the details subtle and sometimes poignant avoided for the sake of box office glory. Mission accomplished.
As I had never heard of twilight or see the film when taken it, I entered the world Forks with an open mind and without preconceived ideas. I thought I was reading but a vampire story – complete with fangs, blood and a new twist to some of the legendary author, expected.
What I have less than four chapters was a tongue-in-the surprise cheek. Instead of waiting for my story dark creatures attacking our fears, I found the legs in a sort of adolescence, social history Misfit said the first. A teenager. I considered the book to one side more than once. This is not my usual fare.
Fortunately, my curiosity made me read. Like millions of people worldwide, was absorbed by the drama of high school Bella Swan, a clumsy outcast find his first love, as the guy who had no other could acquire. Edward Cullen was the idol of young beautiful girls are different and in secret irresistibly desirable. His condition could not be found and disgust Bella initial presence was enough to keep me reading. Like everyone else, wanted to know why.
Twilight has been quoted as a history of inaccuracy vampires. It is really a love story. The simple girl, with doubts and insecurities typical completing what appears to be the ultimate goal, but uncertain of their love unattainable. Stephenie Meyer uses this platform to launch a romantic history that includes a broad suspense and fantasy as a backdrop for passion, not Bella.
Consequently, is enjoying a good story plot relationship just happens to include vampires. Meyer story is so simple, but irresistible, I was organizing the next three volumes before completing the first.
Bella Swan is the girl every girl in circumstances beyond their control, the struggle to cope with their discovery of Edward Cullen and his family – and what they are. Divided by the natural fear of ordinary vampires are dangerous and overwhelming attraction created by the mere presence of Edward, Bella has the appeal of an endless love. Who can blame him? A dangerous life with the perfect guy or the existence of a deaf person among adolescents.
Purists Stephenie Meyer Vampire overtly affected versions of the creatures fangs. In fact, not even the Twilight vampires have fangs. Crocs are never mentioned. Only the venom-coated teeth. And while Mr. Meyer continues to offer other twists on the traditional vampire Lore, the basic attractions are still there. The romance of immortality. The mental faculties and qualities that make vampires human if human beings simply magnetic. To those who say which has tarnished the genre, Get Real. Vampires are the product of fantasy and folklore. It is fair to the artist to be creative and imaginative.
To this end, Stephenie Meyer has achieved gives us a heart wrenching love story and memorable characters. Twilight deserves its iconic status in pop culture.
Beyond the Saga vampire Twilight, Twilight is just a good story. No abrasive language, sex, drugs, or adult situations. Fun for all who wants to sink their teeth story of forbidden love with life or death consequences.
